Garda Lake has a lot of farmhouses and resort opportunities for children and adults. The small city centres on the lakeshore and the area near to the Garda lake are full of places, restaurants, wine bars, discos, and amusement parks so you can enjoy yourself every minute of the day. Lazise, a nice village born around the square of the small arbour, in front of the Veronese many towered and embattled Castle, is very appreciated and visited for its typical cuisine, its lake front and its beautiful views of Sirmione, when the sky is clear.
Sirmione, also known “Garda’s pearl”, is one of the most famous holiday places on the lake. Verona stronghold, a grand fortress, dominates in the city entrance while in the centre it is possible to see one of the biggest Roman Villa’s Ruins: Catullo Caves. Sirmione is also well known for its baths. Its sulphur springs, rises directly from the lake subsurface near the land and they are very good adjuvant for the rheumatism and breathing problems care.
Desenzano, in the south-west of Garda Lake is a point of reference for night lovers and a source of opportunities for sport lovers: swimming pools, riding grounds, tennis courts, are opened the whole year.
Desenzano is easy to get thanks to Verona-Milan railway line, which let people reach very quickly Verona, Venice and Milan.
