Declaration of commitment by the mantuan farmers
1. The Mantuan farmers are the producers of the farm products of Virgilio’s land;
2. The farmers are producers and transformers of their products, and attend directly to selling their products and their quality services;
3. The products, fresh and/or preserved, are obtained mostly from raw materials produced on the farm;
4. The farm products are not realized on an industrial scale, but on a limited scale and this allows to follow and check directly each stage of the process of cultivation or transformation;
5. The producers attend directly to the production, transformation and selling of their products and undertake to:
5.1 Guarantee a personalized and cordial reception to their guests;
5.2 Help the arrival at the farm by means of effective signs;
5.3 Adopt and apply hygiene and health measures in accordance with law “decreto legislativo” 155/99;
5.4 Improve the quality of their products;
6. The producers work for a sustainable agriculture, respecting the environment as well as the well-being of the animals, and undertake to create an alive, hospitable countryside.
The farmers undertake to display this document and to observe its principles.
They ask their guests to bear witness to the efforts and commitment which the farms dedicate to constantly improving the quality of their products and services.
