The territory of the province of Mantua is crossed by 5 rivers. Water, therefore, has deeply influenced the memory and traditions of the Mantuan countryside and has been, since the times before Vergil, the natural key to “reading” the natural landscape of our land and to interpreting its culture.
This is the reason for the name “Verdi terre d’acqua” (Green water lands) assumed by the Consorzio agrituristico (Farmhouse hotels and restaurants Consortium).
A consortium of farm tourism operators engaged in creating quality and sustainable farm holidays, in a cordial, hospitable atmosphere.
This is a constant commitment, carried out with passion and sensitivity by many farmers.
The Mantuan consortium of farmhouse hotels and restaurants is made up of farms whose main purpose is high quality farm tourism, in order to be able to offer a warm reception in a family atmosphere, as well as typical, safe and genuine farm products, and render special the stay of those who we consider not mere customers, but guests.
