In our great peasant tradition, women have always played the most noble and worthy role of managers of the family and of the house, but htey have also been the guardians of cooking secrets and the family recipes passed down from generation to generation.

Nowadays this figure keeps existing thaks to a group of female farmers working in the field of farmstay holidays who want to preserve this precious wealth of ancient knowledge and traditions. In order to promote a renewed interest in old gourmet traditions and peasant wisdom that still lie in rural families, our farms propose cooking lessons using genuine and in-season products: participants are given useful tools to learn how to cook but also to appreciate the simple things and rediscover the authentic peasant tradition.

Join in the cooking lessons at the farms: they will supply the tools necessary to learn how to cook the dishes of Mantuan peasant cooking. They are also available to organize theme courses according to the participants' interest, from wild herbs-based dishes to vegetarian cooking, from bread to flat bread to eat with sauces, to filled pasta.
 

Small groups, hands-on lessons are the key ingredients to learn Italian traditional recipes.
