The court is located in the Po valley, along a well known naturalistic path, ten minutes away from Mantua.
The building, which originally was an old country house restored in order to keep the structure’s peculiar features, is part of a “Loghino”, a typical court in the Mantuan countryside.
During the day the guests can enjoy a delightful experience in the park surrounding the courtyard and relax on our reclining chairs.
Other activities include hiking or biking (we provide our guests with bicycles) alongside the groves and moats on the UISP track till the confluence of Oglio river with Po. Here the guests can experience the unique sight of a romantic pontoon bridge, one of the only two surviving in the whole national territory.
Alternatively, Mantua (15 km), Sabbioneta, “the ideal Renaissance city” (25 km), Polirone abbey in San Benedetto (18 km) can be easily reached.
On summer nights, crickets and frogs graciously delight our guests’ sleep, while in autumn and winter mists cast their veils on fields and wrap buildings.
