The Farmhouse is located in Parco del Mincio and was created in 1498. It is placed near to the famous "Bosco della Fontana", Gonzaga hunting preserve during the 1600s, which has a lot of centuries-old trees, like oaks, hornbeams and maples.
It is operative office of the national center for the study of forest biodiversity; there are a lot of animals, just like stone marten, polecat and weasel; among birds there are a lot species linked with the presence of biscos, like red major woodpecker and torcicollo, apart from various birds of prey. There are various birds linked with the presence of water, like ducks and others.
A few metres away there is a beautiful cycle track, alongside the perimeter of the wood. One can reach Peschiera, on Garda Lake, crossing nice landscapes of Parco del Mincio, which alternate valley and hill.
