Notes: Plunged into the land between The Po and the Secchia, near to Mantua, Corte Bertoia B&B is an ancient farmhouse, restored respecting the environment and using natural materials. The rooms are on a separated floor and brekfast is served in a big room with sight on the country.
The B&B is placed in a suggestive place, plunged into the green of the country and circled by 30 hectars of land natural cultived. You can pass your stay in direct contact with nature, walking on the river levee, cycling and discovering ancient romanic churches in the area or reading on the grass. You can also see the sky full of stars in the night, also from the nearest qbservatory.
5 Km away, in Polirone, there is the Benedettina Abbey. It is a big middle aged and renaissssance monastic complex with works of Correggio and Giulio Romano, which visit can be completed with the farmer culture museum. A lot of churches in the south of Mantua province are of the middle age period and are linked with Matilde di Canossa name. You can visit all of them with a one-day-trip..
