`Paludi di Ostiglia` Natural Riserve of the Regione Lombardia
According to the convention in Ramsar, also abroad the reserve was defined as a Humid Area of great importance and it was set up by the Regione Lombardia in 1983. It covers an area of about 120 hectars and can be considered the last strip of land of the great valley system called the ancient Silva Hostilia that is rich in water where the rivers Tione and Tartaro flow into the `Canal Bianco`.
The reserve is open all the year.
Opening time: every day, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and until 6 p.m. in summer.
